Meet Carla Baker
Founder & Managing Partner
Carla is a three-time operator and investor who spent a decade in the "kitchen" of the startup world. Before founding The Bakery, she noticed a recurring pattern: brilliant founders were being handed checks but left without a map.
Her background is built on three pillars:
Investing: Nearly a decade of deploying capital across Seed and Series A rounds, with a focus on B2B SaaS and Fintech.
Operating: Founder of two venture-backed startups, taking them from napkin sketches to successful exits. She knows what it feels like to make payroll and find product-market fit.
Advising: Years of consulting for top-tier accelerators, helping hundreds of early-stage teams refine their unit economics and go-to-market strategies.
